Having enjoyed Missing by this author, yet another one of the excellent Swedish crime writing fraternity, I came back for another. This though, while extremely well done, was so unrelentingly dark that everyone topped themselves in the end. I’d just come from there in Caribou Island. Must be flavour of the month over there at Penguin! If you like dark, slow building, well written literary thrillers, away you go; as for me I’ll pass for a month or two and opt for something warm and fuzzy!
